Due to the limited number of applications the Midem Committee received for Applications for Subsidy to Midem 2009, please note the closing date for applications has been extended to the end of business on Wednesday, 10 December 2009.

We are delighted to advise that The Department of Arts and Culture will once again be hosting a South African Pavillion at Midem in 2009. Deadline for the discounted registration fee of 454.48 Euro is 15 December 2008. Registration forms need to be returned back by latest 11 December 2008

All South African record companies and owners of recorded music are hereby cordially invited to submit Original Music and Video titles for inclusion in the 2009 South African Midem Sampler. All submissions will be judged by an independent panel of music experts for inclusion on the sampler.
