The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) has announced its 2007 finalists and semi-finalists. Selected out of over 15,000 entries from 100 countries, they represent all genres of contemporary music. 3 South Africans are among the Finalists. 

Mediaguide, the world's most comprehensive source of radio airplay information, has released it's Top 100 Radio Airplay tracks for South Africa 2007. The report clearly highlights the marginalisation local music and independent labels continue to experience with regards radio airplay in the South African music industry.
