The Baviaanspoort Correctional Services are inviting AIRCO Members to attend their Freedom Day and Worker's Day Celebration Event on 23 April 2008, and to submit artists to perform at the event.

 

The event aims to engage offenders incarcerated at the Baviaanskloof Medium Correctional Centre with the community, as part of the process of rehabilitation

 

The event will be staged at the Medium Centre Stadium, from 8:00 to 13:00, on 23 April 2008

 

The main purpose of the event is to to promote the offender integration with the community, and to promote awareness of the dates and their importance within the Baviaanskloof community. Guests will includeinmates, NGO's, members of the community, artists etc. 

 

AIRCO Members are invited to submit artists to perform at the event alongside local groups from Baviaanskloof. There is no fee being offered for performances; this is a purely promotional opportunity.
