All South African record companies and owners of recorded music are hereby cordially invited to submit Original Music and Video titles for inclusion in the 2010 South African Midem Sampler.

• Each company may submit one artist per genre.
• Submissions must be of South African artists, and of a commercially releasable quality. No libelous, offensive, derogatory or prejudicial material will be considered.
• Submissions must be high quality audio
• Submissions must be received before 15 December 2009.
• You must own or have secured all rights necessary for inclusion of all the content you submit in the Sampler.
• As indicated above, there is room for a substantial amount of music on the Sampler, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee inclusion of your submission on the Sampler. The judges decision on inclusion is final. Successful applicants will be notified of inclusion by phone and/or email.
• Should your submissions be accepted, you must be willing to sign a simple clearance allowing us to include your material free of charge (copyright in the sound recordings and songs) within the sampler, and in a digital format without DRM protection (320 kbps mp3). You must also mandate that you are legally entitled to grant permission for usage of your Recordings, and indemnify us against any 3rd party claims from artists etc as result of the usage.
• Biographies and digital pictures (eg jpegs) accompanying submissions are advantageous
• Submissions must be accompanied by the attached submission form – one for each track / video submitted
• Please do not submit your master discs. We make no guarantee to return any discs submitted to us.
